Social roles of a man.

Why are we supposed to be strong?

Why are we depicted as if we were stone?
Media paints a picture of what a man needs to be
But that isn't who I am

We too, break
We too, fall down sometimes
Why can't we cry?
We to, have moments of depression

I do, I do hurt
I'm not what media says I should be
I do have times where I'm in a dark place
But even more that that?

I am me
