socialites

You won’t accept me, not because I’m original because you’re my mother,

“this is social media, Mom.” I look up to you. I write about you online,

“See?” My friends love it Mom. Why don’t you love it Mom? Me Mom?

If you won’t accept me not because I follow you but because you say I don’t do it

right. By your standards. What about my dreams Mom?

Just 13K by the end of the semester but it’s not done if your like isn’t there Mom.

                                                                because the black student

does not Mom.
