Socialization

There are days when I feel alone

Not knowing how to atone

For the reason why I am feeling

Like I should be concealing.

A text message grabs my attention

Filling me with apprehension.

Looking at phone

I discover I am not alone.

An invitation from friends,

My loneliness ends.

A new feeling emerges

Leaving me with joyful urges.
