Simply the knowledge that all around me Are organisms of the greatest complexity That Each and every living thing shares The common code and tongue, G C A T Spoken through each cell, giving the very Blueprints of life, the plans for structures So great as to give the means of more Than communication To know that interactions from the denizens of sand grains On to the towering canopy have long embraced me Is Enough
