Society

I look at them.

Those beautiful people

From which my insecurities stem.

Society tells me that they are perfect

and that I should change myself

so then I'll gain respect.

Can I not say that I am beauty?

or would that make me

sound snooty?

Neverthless,

society has done it's job

in making me obsess.
