society

be strong, they say
but do they show you the way?
they leave you on your own
but they won't leave you alone
what they say is all an act
it's what they do that is the fact
life's not about your opinion on things
it's about the pain and pleasure being stupid can bring
so don't you dare show your voice
as if you ever had that choice
be afraid of the things you know
and go far away, if you ever want to grow
get away from our society
this mockery of a place
or silence your creativity
so you won't be a disgrace
