The dream has fallen

the doves wings clipped

the light put out

and fire smothered.

surrounded in darkness

fear

despair.

Swallowed whole

as individual beings

regurgitated as one.

The child falls.

An adult rises.

Death claims what it shall,

ones differences,

then their empty shell.
