Society in a Classroom

She walks the halls as a junior

Oblivious to all yet true to herself and a few

As the days pass by she gains more knowledge

About educational divisions

About sports vulnerabilities

About ethnic divides

About government ethics

About artistic meaning

About gender relations

About so much more

All in the context of society

How they reflect society

When they impact society

Where they take the most effect in society

Why they change society

What they do for society

And who they harm the most in society

Her mind and views mature

She perceives life from different viewpoints

She now tries to be fair to all sides

This year showed her she was not a kid

Whether she knows more

And is burdened with more knowledge

Or she knows more

And is powerful with more knowledge
