Society March

We are only puppets on strings Porcelain dolls they pull For whom freedom rings They got us by the thread Trying to balance the beam But were misled They gave us direction To perfection But got lost on the way Oneness and uniqueness Were all washed away Society is the dictator And we are the slaves Whatever laws they make Without question we obey We are taught to think big But we are small We march down the halls, Us porcelain dolls The thread is thinning; The puppets are spinning I hear them shout In their forceful tone And we must follow "one...two...(and then comes three) I am not allowed to be me." Repeat, repeat, repeat. We see no evil, But they feed us lies And we consume Time after time One must speak out And justify the truth You are false Your point is invalid No one listens to your words Until you are dead And your silence will become said The thread is breaking Time is nearly gone Ticking away, Just like a bomb The porcelain is melting Someone come help me! Here is your destination I hope you are ready This ongoing march Arrives at the same place I hope there's enough space! We are now finished We are now gone But no one remembers Once it is dawn Our cycle is complete And the rest marches on.
