Society Monster

Day in
Day out

We try to be
Everything you hope to see

Green with envy
And full of rage
It’s time we ourselves took a page

The ideals of our founders corrupt in time
In the dark
We are at our prime

Our judgments clouded in ecstasy
Together
One collective monstrosity

Day in
Day out

We aim to please
This endless war is just a tease

All alone
We’ll surely fall
We as a whole shall merely crawl

With our own destruction delayed
On the floor begging to be saved

Day in
Day out

We truly are

The one
The only
