Society is My Fear

Why are we supposed to cry through a heartbreak?

Why is it so easy to love but hating someone is like trying to break a diamond?

It’s all broken promises, but i don’t feel betrayed.

Today’s society ruined it.

Sex

Just an act of the day, right?

We are expected to cry, but how can i deserve to cry when i did it to myself

A casual fling of heartbreak that I expected.

Is it so hard to feel loved these days?

So hard that you can find sex in anyone, but when it comes to love its lost

Love

Just a word that seems to mean nothing these days

We were taught that we would meet the one

But where did all the good guys go.

Did they just disappear when it reached the 1990s?

Of was it the 2000s?

Hate

Hate exists, but I feel like we do it to ourselves

We set ourselves up for disaster in that 1% hope that it will turn out

We hate ourselves for giving out body away hoping he will love us as much as he loves our body

Sex seems not to be the way to his heart

It’s only the way to disappointment and false hate

But in the end of the day the only person we hate is ourselves

In the end of the day we still love him

And in the end of the day sex is just as passionless as our society has made it.
