Society isn’t real, but is a bully.
Bullies can be brutes or brats
they have insecurities and secrets too
but they found out how to cover that

Cover with slurs and words
bullying can be physical too
we all are just trying to survive
The daily grind and the heartbreak blues

Image is everything; try to be “cool”
Sorry babe, I hate to break it to you
all the judgments and trends
They don’t end with high school

Everyone judges everyone
Almost like they have a clue
Guess what? Stress is a killer
For me and for you

Imagine a world full of gray blobs
Nothing separating one from another
“They” can’t find something wrong, or right.
And one just looks like the other

Can’t be unique, you gotta follow the crowds
We strive to be everyone but we never know what we need
Just remember sweetie, normal
Is just a setting on a washing machine

Society tells how it “is”
Yet it changes every day
Your imagine should make you happy
And to love you is the only way

It’s our differences that make us, us.
And struggles make us stronger
So laugh it off, smile more
And don’t listen to “they” any longer.
