SOCIETY'S BLINDFOLD

Society tries to define us. Worst of all, celebrities try to mold us. Fake glamour assertion, even the ones really made; you'll be pissed by their rococo. I'm not under pressure to be socially acceptable. I won't cede to their salient, silent pressure to turn me to Society's toy. When you walk that street, you see the intimidating wears on people staring at you and you are intimidated (actually on people who are tossed by society), You see that boy, that girl looking top notch and subconsciously you are picturing yourself as that person. but the truth is; the sense of rectitude is lost. When you log on to social media you see that model whose charming outlook leaves you reorientated. You watch that blockbuster movie and that star actor/actress is nursing a character in you already. Her body curves blindfolds the eyes, the six packs blurs your sight, you don't see the pit, your sole interest is to leap - go through the rigors that will reproduce that you've seen in them in you. Quite true, we are inherently insatiable, (intended for positivity by God) but Society's imparted covetousness has advanced that frontier. Society tries to make us see that our worth is tied to our look. The more you possess, the more you are happy; is their fallacious alleged truth. We've not been well educated on "its more blessed to give" Social media has been the propagator of this trend. Competitive spirit has consumed virtually all the youth. Not competition for self improvement or advancement, but to see another not up to their status. Society tells us that the more we get what we want the more happy and fulfilled we become. She tells us that without a higher education, you stand a low chance to success. They teach us what to think and not how to think. They just stuck us in a circular box and expect us to go in circle. Priceless nuggets: Break the jinx, Cut the crap! Look at the special quality in you the whole world is looking for. Stop that experimentation of your life. You don't need to be another person to be unique. Your worth is not tied to Society's description. Neither your level of academic performance nor your race defines you. You are are an untapped jewel. You could be another uprising Bill Gate, Michael Faraday, Ben Carson, W.F. Kumuyi, Paul Enenche,...... You're not worth the worth they describe you with You are worth more than the rubies, priceless as the galaxies, a gift to this world. No one can replace you and no one can be you. Having you juxtaposed with a gold, you will most certainly outshine. If I wield the power, I will make you see when you were being formed. The maker invested so much time in you before lunching you to time. It was such a scintillating scene to behold. Like the lilies were you adorned, like the rose were you beautified, like the Demigods was your strength. A masterpiece without compromise, that's who you are! The next time that inferiority complex mood is activated in you, just smile and say "I'm God's masterpiece and that's enough"
