Society's Creation

These things in me. These things. They were created by society. These futures and roads and paths and expectations. Who put me in the spotlight and said I wanted all of it? Who? Who did? Why? The scared feeling of letting people down and being a disappointment. Failure to family. Failure to friends Failure to... myself. To have let society eat its way into me To have let society plant the seed in me To have let society feed the seed and cause greed. I was the one who let it happen. Looking around, there’s no one to blame except myself.
