Society’s Antagonism

Here I stand to make a change

To view a world that’s on the same page

But we live under a false falsification

They want me, not my social location

Sending us with the suits of orange

Making us dangerous and criminal like the essence of the syringe

But I don’t want that, I want to thrive with courage

helping the world more than placing a band-aid of bondage

But listen to what I have to say

Before we remain in this cycle and makes us pay

But we proud of having this melanin

Using it for combat like insulin

That’s why we fight to maintain

The essence of our cultures even the old pain

You too be proud, our voices make change

But I just want to make sure we’re on the same page.
