Soft

Soft
like the pink of the new dawn
soft
like the drop of dew on the petals of the rose
soft
like a fragile moment before awakening
soft
like the tender touch of a beloved's hand
soft
like the first ringing laughter of a small child
soft
like the purple of lavender
soft
like the scent of jasmine worn on the evening breeze
soft
the day's greeting in the west in the red crimson
soft
the rays of the bright yellow moon that come to watch over the universe

gentle caring
soft the beautiful
soft as love
which melts the heart

soft on the eyes
soft on the audience
soft on the lips
the love that enchants the soul
soft chords of the song of life
which makes it all worthwhile...
