Softly
Bathed in pain
Awash in misery
Heartache from heartbreak
Kicked to the curb
Hung out to dry
Alone under midnight light
Sitting and spinning
Webs of lies
Covering up the hurt
Wounds not so old
Deep venomous red
Spew black hurt
Slowly I sink,
slipping softly,
into oblivion
