Softy Break

Listen close

Soft cries they hold

A certain ounce of grace

Hiding away the little things

Which would alert the others

The slightly broken just go on,

Continue their little shuffle

Always do they know and yet

Others fail to see it

Their little fissures, they always

Grow far beyond the first

People who bit their tongue

For far too long to stay quiet

Now they start to see too late

That their hopes to save others

Their hopes to save others

From troubling themselves

Is what has made them break and fade
