The Soil plead Guilty
THE SOIL PLEAD GUILTY!! (POEM-29)
Forefathers left the world restless,
Pain growing with sickness,
Land of our ancestors,
Forefathers raised with sarcasm,
Left bare wounded was the promise,
It was a remorse,
Sun of life burnt with hatred,
Life been hated,
African village left uncried,
Barren been the womanhood,
Street left burdened,
Smiles rotten to be buried,
Daylight been the fierce,
Soil texture laid with mope,
Dawn cried with hunger,
Kings ruled for bloodshed,
Evil heart crowned,
Crime raised,
Oh African song,
Never leave us crying,
Struggle still protruding,
Soil of the nation,
Plead guilty to preach,
Stems drowned without being rich
Let the bud crouch,
Soil leave us not like dongas,
Flower of pollination,
Let polluted be peace,
It was the leftovers of the skin,
Green pasture of African,
Ululations of pastors,
Smoke be the brunt offering,
Dust to dust we kneel for salvation,
Rest be the soul of An African soil,
Roots of life wear you the cloth,
Plead guilty to preach benediction,
Heaven is our restoration,
Let our tears be of religion,
Sky of peace let us not be in pieces,
Let us not be the prey,
We are afraid of the grey,
Guilty we plead for African soil.
