People do

When the stakes are high

We must see them through

We are soldiers in our on light

The struggles we face, the wars, the fights

Then why must we fight acknowledging risk

for who, for why, for what benefit

We fight for a cause, that we deem as fit

just or injustice, the effect will sit

War determines not who's right but who's left

We rise to the surface, facing our debt

Victor or victim, only time to decide

If the journey was worth all the work and the stride
