Solider
Baby Girl is my name and my dad gave me that name. I am the youngest of three and I am spoild. But I only have one person to blame and that's my dad -- Frank. A man so nice you could call him the nice guy. A smile so big noone noticed his two front teeth were gone. A man so strong he could take on ten men with no problem. A man who loved his family you could say " Family Comes First. And a man so protective you could call him a solider. This solider became very sick and I Baby Girl wanted to know why. Noone would tell me. Soilder and I shared many laughs as he laid in his hospital bed, even though it hurt him to -- laugh and -- talk even cry. A snowy day in December family and friends gathered around on the 5th day to say their goodbyes. Prostate Cancer took my dad away. The only man I ever love (beat). The only man I ever cherished is gone (beat) forever and now I know why. Prostate Cancer took him tens years ago. I was only 8. Now I am 18 wondering why he's gone. I cried -- then -- and I still cry. But I know that my dad is looking over me and that I am headed into the right direcion (beat) High School, College and Beyond.
