Solitary Confinement

"Solitary Confinement" The guard said good luck as the Steele shut welcome to solitary confinement, there intent is to kill but to me twas a thrill I finally get some silence. I start to write with very little light and relax cause nobody else is near, I have no choice but to listen to my voice its the only one I can even hear. I settle in a corner not a spot was any warmer I'm content and all alone, not another fool is screaming its only me doing the dreaming all the thoughts are my own. What a price to pay just to pass away a day not a sole to talk to but me, the pictures in my mind can't take em cause they're mine they're really all I need to see. I really love the silence it surely beats the violence forgive me lord for what I had to do, so quickly I discovered I had to save a brother who was counting on me to follow through. It happened for a reason only I could stop his bleeding no time to second guess, what was I to do sit there like a fool not hardly I'm different from the rest. You can call it bad behavior but today I was a savior it was something that had to be done, lord I figured you were busy I could see that he was dizzy besides I think I owed you one. M.Ronk
