Solo Bird

a foregoten bird left alone in its nest
the parents have gone and made a new best
foregoten she is she must fly soon
or death wil be be her call

the wind blows
her wings open with a nervous action
she lets go of her fear and starts to fly
she flys with a passion that was never seen
to her flock that she once knew
she stops short with a saddened face
she turns her back to start at a new place
