Solution to Lonesomeness

It was January of 2020, pandemic began to crawl slowly, slowly

Then came February the world began to question what, why, is it the end?

Then March said stay at home to be safe enemy can't be seen.

The world started to grow dark, confused, lonely as if crushed, in despair.

Hospitals were taken aback, not ready for the battle,

New words came out "covid 19, isolation, stay home, quarantine, pandemic, etc"

Ambulance sirens shattered every nation, left every heart  throbbing,

Never did anyone in this day and age expected this to happen.

Maybe because people were stuck in the  world of make believe

Never kept in mind the saying that goes "Too much confidence kills a nation".

Government officials crumbled, beleaguered, disoriented, perplexed.

The whole  world is  undersieged, under attack, embattled and under fire.

April announced "We can see silver lining at the end of the tunnel

But the world's inhabitants started to lose hope.

Million jobs gone, millions laid off, millions and millions of revenues lost.

Businesses closed, people sobbed for lives lost, cried one's eyes out.

Loneliness crept in homes, groping for something to hold on, searching blindly

Month of May saw a silver lining, busineses reopened, question was it too early?

Oh no, covid cases are skyrocketing when the world reopened

June, July, August silver lining is so thin that it lost its light

and blackness blanketed  the earth again,  lonesomeness broke many hearts

September, October and so on and so forth, will  there be light?

Can i call out  to exclaim "LORD, let there be light!!!"

Firmly believe, There will be light.... HOPE will lead us to the SON.
