Some choice words

Quiet in the corner

The girl

Not me

But she could have been

So much more than she is now.

Quiet in the corner

The boy

Crying

Never listening

To what he has to say.

Quiet in the corner

I was

Dying

To know life fulfilled

Finding it in my voice.

Unafraid in the middle

I am

Silence

Is not the way I live

I want -- need -- a voice.
