Some day

I open up my mind,

and see the possibilities.

Fantasy I always find.

Space and time just reality.

Peace signs around the world I always hoped,

but every time I look around the world

I find hatred, and prejudice,

and sometimes I don't know how to cope.

There are days I just frown when I look around,

but it always ends in a smile.

Light above the darkness I always found

even when everyone seems hostile.

I'm not one to preach,

or say I know much,

but one day the hands of the world will reach,

and find lights touch.
