Some Girls

Some girls feel like a used book

just laying on a bookshelf read once

but soon forgotten

some girls feel like there is

nobody that wants to hear their story

nobody that wants to hear

the highs and lows of their story

and to those women i say

i will read your story

i will listen to every word you have to say

i will be there for you

i will Always be there

to carry through the hard parts of the story

and i will celebrate with you in the good parts

and even if in the end the pages are wet

from the tears you have shed

i will make sure those pages dry

and become stronger than they once were

for i will hear your tale

even when i am the only one left listen

you will know that i am all ears

i will hear your story
