Some Lessons from the Sun and Moon

Every night the sun gets pushed down by the moon

The moon in all of its glory steals the show for a little while

However, the moon wouldn’t be able to shine so bright, or shine at all if it wasn’t for the sun’s help

So why should the sun, after being hurt still be so helpful to the moon?

Because not everything needs revenge

Not every pain has to be reciprocated

It is better to create glory for one than suffering for both

The Moon, after being admired by many,

Eventually everyone goes to sleep

Why does the moon not get mad that everyone doesn’t celebrate its beauty?

Because some good things go unnoticed,

And it is better to be truly great, then simply perceived as gold

Not everyone will see your worth, but inside you will be

Every morning, we see a spectacle of bright colors in the sky

Welcoming back the sun for another day

Why does the sun, after being pushed down that night rise up and shine bright once again?

Because life has goods and bads, ups and downs

The only way to appreciate the good, is to be contrasted by difficulties

No matter how low your bads are, you can still shine bright tomorrow.
