Some Night

Some nights she cries. Tears shed for her pain. She feels alone, lost. She cries for what once was. The life she once knew. The life that was supposed to be hers. Some nights she lays in bed. Thinking about what could be. Who's she should instead of who she is. She feels consumed with shame. Consumed with guilt and sorrow. The world she knew came crashing down. It fell because of her. Some nights, she wishes it were her last.
