Some People
Some say love lies through the teeth,
hiding all the bite underneath.
Some say love is the fight,
the fight you fight to survive.
Some say love will break you down,
into a million pieces, some lost, never to be found.
Some say love is that what you're worth,
a penny, a nickle, a dime, or nothing but ashes ignored in his hearth.
Some say love is that of what you make it,
if you aren't in it to win it, then you're in it to break it.
Some say love is sex, and sex is the love.
Some say love is the people who break your heart "for the very last time",
but end up laying in bed with you moment you cry.
Some people say love isn't anything at all important,
that when you come across it then shoulder it.
And some people, don't know anything about love.
What some people don't know is that love is about facing the uphill battle.
What some people don't know is that love is
Unconditional,
Unceasing,
Uncontrollable.
What some people don't know is that love is in everyone,
it is the most vulnerable part of them begging to be shown.
What some people don't know about love is that death cannot stop it,
neither can war, hate, or anyone who discriminates against it.
What some people don't know is that accusing looks don't make love disappear,
love does not wither, or crack, or appear clear.
What some people don't know is that love is never expecting anything in return.
What some people don't know is that you shouldn't be confused when you see there’s no price tag on love,
because love is priceless.
Some people don't know love. Yet everyone deserves it.
Love never dies, love is the life in us.
