Some People Have

Some people

Wander in the forest and never see the trees
Walk along meadow paths and never see the flowers
Climb rocky mountain faces and never feel the stones

Some people

Ignore the flowers, crushing them as they pass
Value the trash of this world and cherish it as priceless treasure
Pass the most precious of objects and mock them as trash

I have

Walked through life and never experienced the joy of life
Looked through the people around me, feeling alone
Lived under the curse of my lovers eyes
