Somebody
see you can have all the money in the world and still be lone
i just need someone to call my own and home
life aint always what it seems to be
people in the world trying to be like me
they need to see the values and just be free
you don’t need it all.. to be happy with life
you just need someone that cares that you call a wife
they say money can’t buy happiness and they was right
because life is so short and it all goes quick
all that matters is if you can take that hit
you need to get back up and learn from it
but you can’t do it all by yourself.. you’ll go crazy
i don’t care bout the money i just need my baby
see people think this life is all jolly and good
well i guess it is if you come straight from the hood
see momma raised me all by herself
she kept a smile on her face but she screaming for help
we had little to nothing when i was growing up
but momma kept trying no matter what
i made myself a promise the day i turned 12
see i told myself that i would get out of this hell
make a lot of money and it’ll all be well
so i turned from everybody and only thought of myself
knowing that’s the only way that i’ll prevail
little did i know that i would be alone
little did i know i wouldn’t find my home
see i want that special person i want special love
that type of stuff that makes it feel like it’s up above
so don’t over look the simple things for the money
all you need is a goal and just reach it fully
