Somebody Said

Somebody said

That it “couldn’t be done.”

But he with a wry smile

And a chuckle replied,

“Maybe,”

But he wouldn’t be the one

Who wouldn’t say so

Till he tried.

So he buckled down

And got stuck right in

With a trace of a grin

On his face.

If he was worried

He hid it well

Then he started too sing

As he tackled the thing

That “couldn’t be done!”

And guess what?

HE DID IT!
