Someday
You believe you are better
than those who love
their own gender.
What makes you so special?
You make your cases
and think you are Supreme.
You’re indifferent to the faces
of the lives you keep separate.
On one thing we agree:
Marriage is a sacred thing.
But love should be free.
What makes you so special?
Love knows no race,
Love knows no gender.
Maybe someday the chase
For Equality will be over.
Someday, over the rainbow,
we’ll all be as special as you.
