SOMEDAY

Someday the sun will rise And I won’t be able to open my eyes My family won’t be able to hear My precious heartbeat No one will be able to listen To my laugh as they tickle my feet I won’t feel sad when it rains I can’t jump in the pool on a sunny day Thunderstorms will no longer make me run and hide Eventually my heart won’t break tears won’t flow Because of a simple break up I won’t be able to feel your touch When your fingertips run across my skin To show your tender love One day my little body will lose air Because it’s all worn out I will be laid across The throne of the king A chorus of angels will sing As I return home With the biggest smile on my face I know I will see life from up above from my window seat In heaven I will watch everyone smile, cry and fall in love Please don’t feel like I am gone For I’m always in the mist When you see the leaves move in the tree It’s me dancing in the wind Yes you will shed tears because of death But be thankful for all the days I was in your embrace Celebrate all the times you made me smile Laugh at the memories made While I was breathing On our temporary home Know that I’m waiting For all of YOU TO RETURN HOME SOMEDAY
