Someone Else

tbh this is what I felt and sometimes still feel about myself but I'm slowly getting better

I want to be pretty,

But instead I’m ugly;

I want to be happy,

But instead I’m depressed;

I want to be carefree,

But instead I’m anxious;

I want to be energized,

But instead I’m tired;

I want to be healthy,

But instead I’m so sick;

I want to be someone else,
But instead I’m stuck with my horrible self;

Before all of this torture,

I actually wanted to be alive,

But instead now,

I just really want to be dead.

I have been writing poetry for 5 years now and I have a collection of over 600 original poems I've made. I submitted a poem to Appelley Publishing and was published in the 2018 addition of their poetry book. I love to read and write, and I have a cat and a hamster.

I love your work. A writer here once told me I have a gift. To write about human pain. You've done this as well. This is great and I can completly relate. I would have you read My Hell by me if you please.

XD TheLoverFool
