Someone that I can't live without
The person that I most certainly can not live without
Is the same person that has watched me grow throughout the years.
She has been there for me thick and thin, and never tapped out,
As I think about this topic, in my head, my mom appears
Through the spanks and the time outs, the laughing and cheering
She is the one person that has been there through it all
From elementary school to college move in, there was some tearing
As her baby boy was growing up and now was face with a curve ball
Even though I am slowly growing up to be man,
Sometimes even men need their Mommy, no matter how old.
People that don’t have their mom’s around feel lost, like Peter Pan.
Hiding from this feeling, Peter Pan put on blind folds,
But I am not as foolish as Peter Pan, as I know that I can not live without my mother
Always there for me, giving me advice, but sometimes you need the love of your mother and no other
