Someone to know

You are someone to know

You were someone I did know

With eyes that could pierce the soul

And words that punched my heart

A heart that killed my soul

You broke me

But out of that…

you made me

To give you a thanks

Would be to underestimate your impact

A… thanks,

Could never be enough

You rocked my world

You shook my faith

You. Made. me.

Yet I cry goodnight

Goodnight to the one I called zanmim (my friend)

Goodnight to the soul-crushing, life-changing, brown-eyed man

Goodnight to the outcasted, the rejected

Goodnight to the pain, the suffering

Goodnight to the confusion that laid in the twinkle of your eye

Goodnight to ever saying goodbye

Goodnight,

See you soon
