Someone New

I use to think I was lame

Always hiding in a life of shame.

Then one day as I awoke

I lost my attitude like a puff of smoke.

I saw myself as someone new

This very day when I met you.

As I looked in the mirror and there I saw

A new woman without a flaw.

Someone smart, intelligent and strong

As in one day I knew where I belonged.

I know inside that I will be

Powerful, Happy, Successful in anything I believe.

For I know my future is far ahead

As for my GOD above, in him I am lead.

I love animals, music, sports, and I want to become a teacher. I want to make this world a better place and help educate the children of the future.
