Someone, Please Help Me

How

Do I rid my

Heart, my

Soul, my

Brain

Of the darkness that

Consumes it?

I scream

Out for help,

But only in

Small whispers,

In hopes that someone

Will hear me, but

They never do.

Should

I find someone,

Trust someone,

Finally speak

These words out loud?

“Yes, go ahead and do it,”

A voice says.

“But only if

You don’t want them

To stick around.”
