Someone to Something

There once was a boy

quite unpleasant to see.

His name is Elroy,

and he is very ugly.

Elroy is always called names

each and every day.

He is never picked for group games,

and girls never walk his way.

Elroy enjoys eating eggs,

so his breath stinks really bad.

Elroy walks to school with his small legs

wishing he was taller, he becomes sad.

As he arrives to school,

Elroy meets and greets his bestfriend.

Dressed in a v-neck made of wool,

his name is Ben.

Elroy and Ben are in English class

learning about personification.

Elroy uncontrollably passes gas

while the teacher presents her demonstration.

The teacher became mad,

disgusted by what he has done.

Elroy now feels bad,

wishing he would've held that one.

As the years go by,

Elroy is finally grown.

From his toes to his eyes,

he is now strong, tall, and toned.

During Elroy's young life,

he was judged every day.

But now he has a wife

to support him along the way.

Someone to something,

in just a short period of time;

which eventually led Elroy

into a peaceful state of mind.
