Someone Special
Mom, to me you are like a hero
all the monsters you told me weren't under my bed
All the creatures you fought that were in my closet
All the boys you said had cooties so i wouldn't like them
All the times you let me cry on your shoulder cause i was having a bad day
All the texts you send me telling me to drive safe
All the times you told me you would be okay and i shouldn't worry about you
All the times i told myself to be strong but it was to hard and i broke down inside, and you were the one to save me
All the times i said be safe at work, and the blue line has your back, you laugh and kiss my forehead and say i love you
That i love you means everything to me after everything we have been through
Mom, you are my hero
