Someone Unlike You

Oh brother there is love
Don't fear the ladies
Not all of them search for pain when they are mating
Not all of them find strength in the abuse that he is giving
Oh brother I promise you
That they aren't all looking for someone unlike you
Oh brother I promise you
When they break your heart, not all of them mean to

Oh brother there is goodness
Don't fear the broken
They're not all looking for a donor
They're not all waiting to attach themselves to another sad soul
Oh brother I promise you
That they aren't all looking for someone unlike you
Oh brother I promise you
When they break your heart, not all of them mean to

Oh brother there is life
Don't fear the inevitable
It's not always looking for the good guy
It's not always cutting things short
Oh brother I promise you
That it's looking for someone unlike you
Oh brother I promise you
That when the world breaks your heart again,
it means to,
because it needs to.
