Someone's touching me
I woke up someone's touching me
Wait what? Hold on say it again
I woke up someone's touching me
You see I woke up in a shock
I was sleeping soundly you know
I was Dreaming that I was dancing with unicorns
You know dreams of a kid
Just to wake up
To see some adult touching me
Instantly shattering my childhood
I was confused and shaken
An adult that I treated like family
An adult I never thought would do this to me
Many questions flood inside my head
The first question was why?
Why me? I'm was just a 12 year old girl
Full of innocence and I was still enjoying my youth
I don't know why me?
His wife was beside him but why me?
The second question was what?
What did I do to make him do this to me?
Was it something I wear?
No ,no that's not it
I was wearing pants and a shirt
When he touched me
What did I do ? Tell me tell me
It happened years ago but
It felt like it was yesterday
I don't know if that was my fault
I don't know, I don't know
I'M STILL SHAKEN
BROKEN AND CONFUSED
they say maybe it was my fault
Maybe I was wearing clothes that was sexually appealing to him
Like a food served on a gold platter
But how can you see a 12 year old girl as attractive if you're an adult
Are you out of your mind?
They say it was nobody's fault
Because the man has his "needs" and he needs to comply to it
Because he is a man and he has a right to do whatever he pleases
He won't hear your pleas as he pleases himself
Please please please
Tell me why
Because this thought clings to me like a disease
Slowly eating me alive as the time pass me by.
Please tell me it's not my fault.
