Something

Something, I need something to hold

arms reaching, hands grasping

for something... anything

to hold on to, keep me here

care.... what does that mean

I don't care about anything

nothing's keeping me here

slowly everything seeping out of me

something! I need something to hold

all these things inside me

spiraling drifting away like dust

swept off the ground

nothing to hold it there

trees are planted

dust to dirt

dirt to mud

it stays, the winds alleviate

what to plant

I don't have any seeds

all my trees are dead

nothing to grow

can I stay?.... no

winds come and go

the supply of me is running low

something, I need something to hold
