Something About You

Something about you,

I just can't put a finger on it.

Your eyes,

the way they shine and stare deep into my heart,

the way they make me see a new perspective on life.

Your smile,

your infectious, warming grin,

painting a ray of sunshine into my day.

Your laugh,

like a child on the playground,

the sound of pure simple bliss.

Your smell,

your stink after football or your freshly cleaned clothes,

all so familiar and calming to me.

Something about you that has forever grown on me,

our memories always in my heart.

Something about you has made me learn my value in life,

taught me to cherish and love.

Something about you.
