Something Among the Waves

Round, jelly-filled creatures drift aimlessly -

They have no control in where they are going.

So they allow fate to have its way,

Simply relaxing into its clutch.

As they tumble in the waves,

And are pushed from current to current,

They have no fear.

They do not fight against it;

Which is inspiring for us all.

All they care to know is that they are

Something among the waves.
