Something Borrowed
Her beauty left you in ecstasy
It did not phase me ‘til she crossed the line
That resulted in outright jealousy
She would pursue him to the deep blue sea
Did she not know he was already mine?
Such an unfortunate discrepancy
Their glee just made me want to run and flee
I couldn’t sit back and pretend to be fine
That resulted in outright jealousy
They grew so close, I could not make my plea
This deep pain I could no longer confine
Such an unfortunate discrepancy
For me he would remain a legacy
Out of my reach, I would no longer pine
That resulted in outright jealousy
Away he went, she held supremacy
But in my eyes he always remained mine
Such an unfortunate discrepancy
That resulted in outright jealousy
