Is Something Broken?

They say all humans have sex

And that it's unnatural to not desire it

and yet

yet

That old sheep in the field has never reproduced

That rat sits in a corner with no care towards the others

If these creatures don't desire it

Then why can't a human not desire it?

"You'll change your mind."

"It's just a phase."

"You're just jealous."

"You had a bad experience, didn't you?"

If nature can

but humans can't

then why can't I?

Is there something wrong?

Is there something broken?

No.

Nothing is wrong

Nothing is broken

This is who I am

and everyone will just have to accept it

I didn't choose to be asexual

But

I like it

So don't dare tell me I'm broken

Because I'm not
