Something to consider

As day by day goes by,

I replay in my mind the sound of your joyous laughter,

The light that shines in your eyes as you speak,

I miss all the times we spent making each other laugh,

The late nights we spent together,

The look you get in your eyes when I said "good job,"

Forever shall I miss the arguments,

The times we were stubborn and refused to speak,

As I sit here by the swaying palms,

The soothing sound of the ocean,

As the tears fall down my face,

I know we shall meet again

Until then,

My wonderful little sister
